Kind advice

1. Before installing the car, it is recommended to connect the 12V DC power supply to check whether the product is normal. If the power cable is accidentally connected to the display port of the host, the host will be burned.

2. For front and rear radars with six or eight detectors, pay attention to the host plug and vehicle wiring, and pay attention to the color to avoid confusion. The host connectors from left to right are: Power, Display, Front probe (EFGH), Rear probe (ABCD)

3. Power cable: ACC red, yellow positive pole of reversing light, white connected to positive pole of brake light, black connected to negative pole. After ACC releases the brake, the front radar continues to operate for approximately 8 seconds. If a delay is not required, the ACC line can remain disconnected.

4. For products with six probes, the front probe is inserted into EH or FG.

5. For large objects and obstacles, the detection distance of the front probe is 0.3 to 0.8 meters and the detection distance of the rear probe is 0.3 to 2.5 meters.

6. It is recommended to install the front and rear probes at a height greater than 50 cm. If the height is less than 50cm, it may detect the ground and cause false alarms.

7. The front probe must be placed along the original path of the vehicle. Avoid areas with high engine temperatures. High engine temperature will affect the performance of the radar.

8. LCD radar, when reversing and braking are controlled at the same time, the front and rear work at the same time, and the minimum distance alarm is intelligently selected.

9. Radar LED and clear radar buzzer. When reversing and braking at the same time, the rear radar works, but the front one does not (reverse priority)

10. The reversing radar is an auxiliary product and serves the driver only. Don't rely too much on it. In rainy and foggy weather, dirt or water droplets on the surface of the probe affect the operation of the radar.

Q:"The sensor is not working."

A:The sensor works by emitting ultrasonic waves and receiving the echoes. The parking sensor system then calculates and displays the distance. This calculation requires a certain amount of time. If an obstacle is too close, the time gap between the emitted wave and the received echo becomes too short. The parking sensor system cannot complete the calculation within such a brief period. Therefore, the minimum detection distance for all parking sensors is not zero, but approximately 0.3 meters—this applies even to factory-installed radar systems in luxury vehicles.
