1. In a colloid mill, rotating teeth shear and grind material against fixed teeth as it passes through the gap.

2. The mill efficiently grinds ultrafine particles using shear and high-speed stirring from the grinding disk's motion.

3. Ideal for wet grinding, the colloid mill grinds, emulsifies, and homogenizes materials through high-frequency vibration and vortex forces.
